Day 76... a boring Saturday

Another lockdown weekend, today we had
absolutely no plans.
Me and Ernie started the day with the lover duck eggs Matt picked us up, Stan refused breakfast and wouldn't get off his phone - at one point I threatened to turn off the WiFi! But he ended up going without and had a tantrum about it later.

I got ready and headed to get some shopping, I seemed to time it right and got in before the queues started. However I did forget things, I feel so much pressure on the way round! Normally I go back and forth in the shop, but can't do that now. So once I've gone down an aisle and forget something, that's its, I don't get it!
The weather has been pretty pants today, so we didn't go out. Stan spent most the day chatting to his friend and playing games online and Ernie just chilled out, watched some odd thing on the tv called cocomelon! He has also started playing with the toys more, he loved playing with the Paw Patrol. It's really nice to watch him, he gets right into the rescues!

The boys had their tea early tonight, me and Matt wanted to be able to sit and enjoy ours! After tea I cut Stan's hair, lockdown haircut number 3 for him!

Stan had a bit of a breakdown at tea time, it started as he didn't finish his pudding and wish he had! But it went on, I don't think he knew what it was actually about. He only
read a few pages in his book as said he was tired so hoping he will be a bit brighter tomorrow as he's been hard work today.
The mum guilt started last night about sending Ernie back to nursery, I was listening to the lockdown parenting podcast and they were talking about it. Its not like I am just going to be sat at home doing nothing, I will be working and when I am working he doesn't have my full attention. I know he will love being back there, he's been asking every day when he is going back. I think once the first day is over it will be easier.
Saturdays positives:
A successful haircut for Stan
The Peter Crouch show, me & Matt laughed a lot!
Lovely peaceful tea time
Stay safe xx
