Day 73... decisions, decisions

Ernie is such a loving child, he wanted to come and cuddle me when he woke up, problem was I was having a wee.
Work today, had a stand off with Ernie as he wouldn't move out of my chair for me to start work.
Stan spent most of his day on the phone to friends whilst playing games, it was nice to hear him chatting away to them.
Had catch ups with the team today, it's so nice to see everyone and just talk about how things are going.
I received a text about Ernie returning to nursery, did I know a rough date of return. I didn't know what to do, I never thought it was would be a hard decision as I can't wait for him to go back! But I found it really emotional. I don't like making decisions at the best of times, let alone when it's about the kids. Messages to my mum and friends, as always they were supportive. Chat on the phone with my sister, who also happens to be the Nursery Manager, I was calmer about the situation and have decided he will
go back Monday. I felt better once I had made the decision, just hope I've made the night one. This now means I can have 2 days at home with Stan, I will be working those days but it will be so much easier as Ernie is so bloody demanding. He will love it back at nursery and I know they give him the best care.
I felt exhausted after that, work had finished but then had to help Stan with his school work. It was more bearable today, just gets a bit silly and gets distracted! We ended up using raisins to help us with maths.

By the time that was all done, Matt was home!
Tea time approached, I asked Ernie mind out the way whilst I put a chair in the kitchen - this resulted in an hour and a half melt down. He missed tea, wanted tea, didn't want tea, wanted to go bed, didn't want to go to bed etc etc! Safe to say by this point I realised I had made the right decision about sending him back to nursery!!
Wednesdays positives:
Catching up with the team
Decision made about nursery
Listening to Stan chatting away to his friends
Stay Safe xx
I thought how sweet ' he wanted a cuddle', then I read more - 'problem was I was having a wee'. Little Ernie cracks me up 😂😂😂 xx
