Day 70... making the most of the weather

70 days, wow! It's mad isn't it, we've had 4
bank holidays, Mother's Day, Easter and 2 school holidays! We've been really lucky and not had any birthdays during lockdown, we do have Matt's on Friday but thankfully some restrictions have been lifted.
This morning I headed into the garden, it was so cool and wanted to paint my nails. However the boys decided they wanted theirs done! I've never painted nails before and never thought I would have to having 2 boys. Ernie has his done at nursery and loves it.

I saw on Facebook the butchers were doing a bbq pack, we decided to have a bbq for tea so Matt headed to pick up the food.
We then got started on refilling the paddling pool, wasn't long till we were all in! Matt and the boys in one and me in the other! Think I had the better deal!

We stayed out there till lunchtime but by this time the boys were really suffering with their hayfever so me and Ernie headed for a sleep whilst Matt and Stan watched a film.

That was pretty much the day done once Ernie woke up. Matt did our bbq, it was so nice! Stan set the table and gave us a flower each!

The boys had a nice bath before bed, 2 days worth of sunscreen to wash off!
Back to work tomorrow and back to school work, me and Stan have already talked about school work, he wants to just get
it done in the morning so it's out the way. I just hope he can do it without a melt down!
Sunday's positives:
BBQ tea
All of us in the paddling pools together - never happens!
Lush afternoon nap with Ernie
Stay safe xx
The little flowers - how thoughtful of Stan x
