Day 67... cheers Boris

Day off work means a lazy morning with the boys.

They were in the paddling pool by about 11 and stay there most the day! They did come out for lunch and tea.

After lunch I had a work meeting, this is when Ernie decided to go to the toilet but had a slight accident so sh*t in the bathroom floor. He had my attention for the whole day apart from 45 mins and that is when he decided to take a sh*t.

Once I had finished the meeting I headed into the garden and paddling pool with the boys.

5pm I sat to watch Boris, it'll be so nice to see some different faces! It'll be hard to get the kids to social distance but it's something they will have to get used to! Also means me and my sister can visit my parents at the same time, I have said mum could serve us dinner in the garden! Ernie is desperate to see his cousin so we will be able to meet them for a walk too.

The boys have really suffered today with hay fever, Ernie especially but I have no chance of keeping them indoors! We could tell they didn't feel great as they cuddled up with us after tea.

Ernie asked if it was clapping day today, I said it was but might be the last one. He then asked if it was over and we can see everyone, sadly not mate.

Tomorrow we have no plans again, another day of sunshine. I have to get some colour on my skin if seeing my sister as she looks like she's been on holiday!

Thursday's positives:

• Lockdown slightly lifting

• Watching the boys play in the paddling pool, they bloody love it!

• Matt bringing home Cheddar strawberries
